Day 3 Results at the 2017 World Rowing Championships

Day 3 was another scorcher with temperatures further fueling hot racing from many U.S. crews who saw both reps and heats on this third day of competition at the 2017 World Rowing Championships.

  • The big boats debut with US crews taking second in both heats and just 1 second behind the leaders.
  • The men’s pair of Anders Weiss and Michael Colella change their race plan for the reps and advance to the semifinals.
  • Ben Delaney, Alex Richards, Bobby Moffitt, and Ben Ruble of the men’s four turn in a solid performance to also advance to semifinals.
  • After losing to the British in a photo finish, the women’s quad win convincingly to advance into the finals.
