USRowing Statement on the FISA Rule 36 Vote
By USRowing Staff • September 19, 2017
The USRowing High Performance Committee (HPC), Adaptive Committee and respective High Performance Directors (HPD) have considered and discussed the proposed options from the FISA Rule 36 review project. The committees and HPDs have recommended their support for the USRowing delegation to vote in agreement with the FISA Council proposed changes to the program and agrees with the process and reasoning that FISA has provided for their recommendation. To ensure members are able to offer suggestions to the proposed changes, USRowing and the committees would like to enable a comment period from interested members to get their feedback before the final recommendation is approved prior to the FISA Ordinary Congress on October 2nd.
The FISA proposed scenarios may be found here.
The FISA Council recommendation may be found here.
