All Rankings Hold For Week Four of the USRowing / CRCA Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – Following a full weekend of racing for NCAA women’s crews, all three top crews have maintained their positions from week three to week four in the USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Division I, II and III Polls presented by Pocock Racing Shells.

At the top of the charts in the DI poll, the University of Washington maintains their three-week lead with 24 first-place votes. The UW Huskies will face number two, University of California, Berkeley, on their home course in Seattle Saturday, April 22. This duel will be a true test of speed for both crews, as well as a test of their rankings.

Polling in third is the University of Michigan who raced against fourth-place Ohio State in Columbus last weekend, earning three victories. The University of Texas rounded out the top five.

In the DII poll, Western Washington University held its number one ranking and claimed three first-place votes. The Vikings continue a strong season, winning five of eight races at the Covered Bridge Regatta in Lowell, Ore.

The Florida Institute of Technology was ranked second with two first-place votes and University of Central Oklahoma was third. Moving up from the seventh place was the University of California, San Diego in fourth and Humboldt State in fifth.

Division III Bates College took nine out of ten first-place votes, continuing to lead the pack in the poll as its top three boats went undefeated against Wesleyan and Tufts.

Wesleyan University ranked second and Williams College finished third. Tufts University and Ithaca College completed the top five.
