CoSport secures additional London 2012 Olympic Games tickets for sale in the United States

Tickets are now available for purchase at CoSport.com
Far Hills, New Jersey - CoSport and the U.S. Olympic Committee announced today that 22,000 additional tickets for the London 2012 Olympic Games have been secured for sale to the American public. This inventory includes tickets for some of the most highly sought after sports, including; athletics, basketball, beach volleyball, and gymnastics. The additional tickets are on sale at the CoSport website ( CoSport.com). All sales are of "live" inventory, and all customers will be handled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
"Additional tickets being made available by CoSport for sale to the American public is great news for fans of the Olympic Games," said Lisa Baird, chief marketing officer of the USOC. "Having the support of American fans cheering on Team USA will no doubt help America's athletes as they try to achieve their best in London."
The USOC appointed CoSport as its exclusive authorized ticket reseller and hospitality package provider for the London 2012 Olympic Games. To date, the demand for tickets to the London Games is proving to be very strong, with CoSport having already received requests for almost 200,000 tickets.
In addition to individual tickets CoSport also offers for sale both ticket and hospitality pass packages ("THPPs") and hospitality packages that include accommodations. The hospitality packages and THPPs are also for sale on a live basis at CoSport.com.
CoSport will leave all tickets for sale until April 2012 at which time the company will suspend sales in order to assign and process the seat locations for all sold tickets. CoSport will resume on-line sales for any unsold tickets in June 2012. All timelines and schedules are posted on the company's website, and also interested parties can create an account at no cost to receive regular updates.
In recognition of Visa's support of the Olympic Games, the USOC is proud to accept only Visa for London 2012 Olympic Games ticket purchases.
