Learn To Row
The 18th-annual National Learn to Row Day sponsored by USRowing and Concept2 will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019, in rowing clubs and health clubs throughout the United States. Competitive and recreational rowers range in age from under 12 to over 90, so it is never too early or too late to take up the sport.
Registration for organizations that wish to participate is open until May 18, 2019

What is National Learn to Row Day?
National Learn to Row Day is held on the first Saturday of June. NLTRD is designed to help our Member Organizations promote their Learn to Row programs and to raise national awareness for the sport of rowing. Clubs all over the United States will participate because of the national recognition it receives, as well as the promotional materials that are distributed.
How can I participate in National Learn to Row Day?
Any club can participate as long as they are a current and active member of USRowing. Registration open and will close on May 18, 2019. REGISTER TODAY!
What are the fees associated with the event?
The great thing about this event is that it’s free to member organizations. Just for participating, you will receive a 3×5 National Learn to Row Day banner, along with several posters to place around town and brochures to pass out.
Do I have to take out extra insurance coverage for the members learning to row?
No. Your standard USRowing liability coverage will be enough for this event.
What kind of publicity does USRowing give our club for participating?
USRowing will provide you with a 3’x5′ banner, posters and brochures for you to display in your community. In addition, watch for sample press releases to send to your local paper, along with suggestions on how to get more publicity for your club.
What are the benefits of participating?
USRowing supports all rowing-related activities throughout the United States. We want to support your club as you seek to teach others how to row. By becoming part of our National Learn to Row Day program, you are becoming part of a national initiative to promote rowing.
