Jamie Redman began rowing as a high school senior in 1986 at Spokane River Rowing in her hometown of Spokane, Wash. She rowed in high school at Lewis and Clarke High School and in college at Yale University. While rowing for the Bulldogs, Redman won two NCAA titles. She is a six-time national team athlete and was an alternate on the 2012 Olympic Team.
Since her retirement from elite rowing, Redman is now a sports physical therapist and juniors coach in Washington state. She was elected by the United State Olympic Committee Athletes Council to serve as the athlete representative at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
