Level 2 Coaching Development Course
Location: Boathouse District. Actual venue TBA.

On the water session included! We are very excited to announce that this course will include an on the water session with U23 athletes. Coach Reilly Damper will be leading the on the water session and will be co-teaching the course.
When: January 26th: Noon to 5p.m. January 27th 8a.m. to 5p.m.
The deadline for registration is January 7th.
Registration: Register through RegattaCentral (scroll down to the “USRowing” link, then “USRowing Coaching Clinics”). Following your registration, you will be sent links to the manual and other information.
Cost: $250, pay on site with a check (made out to USRowing) which can be brought to the course, or paid online through RegattaCentral.
- The Level 2 course will be a day and a half day clinic. Typically if you have rowed for four years and will be coaching a program that will be racing, Level 2 is the appropriate course. The Level 1 clinic is waived for experienced rowers or coaches.
- To access the online manual and attend the course, registrants [participants] are required to have either an active Basic + Coaches Package or an active Championship membership and to have accepted the online release of liability [waiver]. Coaching manuals must be read, “activities” listed in the manual completed, and other materials must be reviewed prior to the course. We have put the coaching manual online and when you register you will get the link to the manual. You will receive a paper copy when you arrive at the in person portion of the course. CPR, First Aid, Boating Safety, USOC Safe Sport Training, Mentor hours and current USRowing membership are required for 2 certification. You do not have to obtain the certifications prior to the clinic. If you have copies, you may give them to the instructor or you can mail or email them later to Willie Black.
