recovery through nutrition, the devil is in the details. Liz Fusco, USRowing
National Team and USOC sports dietitian, will reveal how the right snacks can
make a difference in your performance.

Mark Borchelt of the Texas Rowing Center, the 2015 USRowing Fan’s Choice
Masters Coach of the Year, talks about the intricacies of coaching masters rowers
and how his group has found continued success.

Speaker: Amanda Myhrberg
Rowing and racing well isn’t just about being fit. Performance is driven by setting
the right goals and keeping things in the right perspective. Hear from sports
psychologist Amanda Myhrberg, a Sarasota-based Certified Consultant with the
Association for Applied Sport Psychology, how you can find the right mindset for
rowing and how you can keep your mind healthy. Amanda previously worked at
the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
“Rowing Hygiene and Health – Small Details – Big Gains”
Speaker: Marc Nowak
USRowing’s Director of Athlete Health and physical therapist Marc Nowak was
one of last year’s highlight speakers. Marc returns this year to address a new
topic: rowing hygiene. Monitoring the right things and focusing on small best
practices can lead to big gains in your performance and health. Hear what you
may have to change in your routine or should suggest for your boathouse.
