    Springfield's Bash - Food, Drink, & Rowing Banter - Friday 12/2 - 6-10PM

Welcome to Springfield, MA! This year’s host, Pioneer Valley Riverfront Club, will host an event on Friday evening to highlight the Springfield rowing community.

On the beautiful Connecticut River, Springfield is home to some of the earliest history of rowing in the United States.  Along with this being an Olympic year and celebrating 40 years of Women’s Rowing in the Olympics, Springfield is hosting a party to celebrate our rich history of rowing by profiling and networking with the people who have made it great – you.

Coaches, rowers, parents and friends, come eat, drink, chat, listen and dance the night away at the MassMutual Convention Center (a short walk from the Sheraton and other downtown hotels).  It will be a night to remember – although, some may choose to forget.  It is sure to be an engaging night with DJ Les, regatta-appropriate games, great food and cash bar.  Door prize raffles will surprise participants with products from prominent rowing companies.  When was the last time you attended a party that gave you a chance to walk away with a new ergometer or pair of sculls from Concept2?
We believe that Maslow’s original hierarchy had just three needs – food, drink and rowing banter.

Meet and Greet sponsored by the Alliance of Women Coaches

On Thursday evening December 1st at the USRowing Convention in Springfield MA, we will have a get together organized by the Alliance of Women Coaches. This meeting is aimed at female coaches from all Divisions all over the country to provide them with a framework for interaction and connection between each other. When success-minded women come together in a collective environment, networking turns into collaboration and mentoring, and everyone benefits.  The Alliance will provide a welcome drink.
