Yohann’s most memorable sporting achievement was winning the French junior national title in the men’s double sculls with Alexandre Belgy…He started rowing because his dad rowed for one season and he decided to give it a try…The most influential person in Yohann’s sporting career is Jean Christophe Rolland who received a gold medal in the pair at the 2000 Olympic Games because he showed Yohann that everything is possible during a race…He hopes to make the U.S. National Team for the 2015 World Rowing Championships in France and then make the U.S. Olympic Team that will compete in 2016…Yohann is engaged…After his rowing career, he hopes to focus more on his future family, kids and traveling more.
