Personal: Jamie was an Academic All-American from 2006-08 and an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship winner in 2008…She lists running the New York City Marathon as her most memorable sporting achievement…Before rowing, Jamie was a nordic ski racer and and cross-country runner…One of her athlete role models is the Norwegian nordic skier, Bjorn Daehlie, a 12-time Olympic medalist…Jamie enjoys skiing, playing the fiddle and violin, running and reading Jane Austen…After her rowing career, she hopes to run more marathons, continue playing the violin and become a physical therapist.
