Personal: Besides rowing, Eleni enjoys surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, biking, and reading…Her most memorable sporting achievement was racing in the ZLAC novice four, in which she finished second at the Long Beach Christmas Regatta and third at the Desert Sprints in Tempe…Eleni has Stardgarts, a degenerative eye disease, and is visually impaired…Eleni lists her friend, Emily Walton, as the most influential person in her sporting career because she inspires Eleni to do her best every time she gets on an erg or on the water…Eleni plans to continue rowing in college and to go to medical school
