Brandenburg

Brandenburg-an-der-Havel is located on the bank of the river Havel in northeastern Germany in the federal German state of Brandenburg. It is approximately a 30-minute drive from Berlin. The Brandenburg region is known for its thousands of lakes and many other waterways, making it an appropriate setting for an international regatta. Many small bridges span the canals and branches of the river that flow throughout Brandenburg, which give the city its special charm.
