The first tickets for the 2006 World Rowing Championships scheduled for August 20-27 in Eton, England, go on sale on Tuesday, January 10 at 10:30 a.m. local time.

Eight day Grandstand tickets cost £85.

In addition to guaranteeing a seat in the main Grandstand by the finish line for each day of the event, ticket purchasers will also guarantee a seat for the two days of finals, which are unlikely to be available as daily grandstand tickets.

Eight day parking tickets cost £25.

Subject to availability, daily grandstand tickets for the heats, repechages and semifinals will go on sale later in the Spring, together with all daily enclosure and car park tickets.
