2009 USRowing U23 Lightweight National Team Camp Invitations
USRowing is pleased to announce that the following athletes have been invited to the following U23 Lightweight National Team Camps.
Please RSVP your intention to attend the camps no later than May 17, 2009, to John Parker, USRowing Lightweight Head Coach, at john@usrowing.org. If you are waitlisted, please RSVP as well, and you will be notified of your status after the May 17 deadline. More information about the camps will be provided at that time.
U23 Lightweight Men's Four Selection Camp
This camp will select a BLM4- to compete at the 2009 Under 23 World Championships from July 23-26 in Racice, Czech Republic. This camp may also select a BLM2x to participate in the 2009 Under 23 World Championships Trials from July 6-10 at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J., for the opportunity to compete at the U23 World Championships.
Invited athletes will report to Oklahoma City on Friday, June 12, 2009.

Invited athletes will report to their respective locations at GMS Rowing Center and Vesper Boat Club at a date soon to be determined. These camps will be working in conjunction with each other.

Lightweight Men's and Women's Pre-Elite Sculling Camp
This camp for men and women is open to collegiate athletes with elite-level potential who wish to have specific sculling instruction in order to prepare for rowing after college as a lightweight. This highly competitive sculling camp requires no previous sculling experience and will expose athletes to technical basics, as well as ample summer race experience in sculling while living in New York City.
