USRowing is pleased to announce the following athletes have been invited to the Women’s National Team Summer Selection Camps. The camps begin on June 4. The Under 23 Selection Camps will be held at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va., while the Princeton 4- Camp will be held in Princeton, N.J.
Athletes are instructed to contact USRowing Women’s National Team Assistant Coach Laurel Korholz at korholz@yahoo.com as soon as possible to indicate their intention to participate in the camp.
The Under 23 Selection Camps will select the athletes who will represent the U.S. at the 2007 FISA Under 23 World Championships this July in Strathclyde, Scotland. University of California Women’s Head Coach Dave O’Neill will run the sweep camp, while University of Virginia Head Coach Kevin Sauer will run the sculling camp.
Women invited to the Princeton 4- Camp will join athletes currently training at USRowing’s National Training Center to compete for spots in the women’s four that will represent the U.S. at the 2007 FISA World Championships this August in Munich, Germany.
