Personal: Sam enjoys video games and going to Best Buy. He lists his most memorable sporting achievement as making the 2005 National Team. Sam’s parents are the most influential people in his sporting career. He is an Eagle Scout. Sam says his personal hero is the underdog because it is usually someone that starts out with less, but thanks to persistence and determination, ends up with more. He believes the philosophy behind any underdog story is that in the end, you always get out of it what you put in it.
