Personal: Rachel is a three-time senior national team member...Rachel enjoys long bike rides, swimming, playing Frisbee, napping, baking, reading and dogs...Her older sister, Emily, rowed for Yale Crew...She lists her favorite places to race as Lucerne, Switzerland, and Derby, Conn...Rachel said if she wasn’t rowing, she would probably be playing water polo but that she would also like to try pole vaulting...She lists her favorite movie as Zoolander, her favorite television shows as The Office and The Daily Show and her favorite books as Angle of Repose, Reading Lolita in Tehran, and The What of the What...Rachel lists the Olympic gold medal game in water polo (men or women) as the one sporting event she would like to have a ticket to because it would be super aggressive, fast paced and fun to watch.
