National Results: Won a gold medal in the lightweight women’s double sculls at the 2007 USRowing National Championships...Placed fourth in the lightweight women’s single sculls at the 2007 USRowing National Championships.

Personal: As a former All-American in track and field and cross-country, Nicole chose rowing after an injury prevented her from continuing high-impact competition. She lists her mom and twin sister as the most infl uential people in her life because of their constant support. Nicole enjoys listening to music and the outdoors. She hopes to someday make the senior national team and follow in the footsteps of her cousin, Dominique Diezi, who swam for Switzerland in the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games.
