Personal: Megan is a four-time senior national team member...She enjoys coffee, surfing, guitar and poker...Her goals include rowing in the Olympics, learning to be a D.J., and coaching at the collegiate level...Megan’s biggest hobby is music...She enjoys mixing and spinning...Her favorite groups include Deep Dish, Air and The Chemical Brothers...Her first concert was G.Love and Special Sauce...Megan’s favorites include: Movie – Rocky I; Television Show – Survivor; and Food – Mexican...Her favorite author is Dave Eggers, a writer from Berkeley who wrote A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius...Her favorite Eggers book is You Shall Know Our Velocity...When she gets time off, Megan’s favorite destination is going back home to California...Whenever she goes home, she likes to drive to Santa Cruz and then go for a one-hour run along the coast...She believes happiness is walking your dog along the beach every morning...Megan wants to be the head rowing coach of a Pac-10 school when she is done competing...She recently got engaged to fellow national team rower Simon Carcagno.
