National Results: Took silver in the men’s varsity eight at the 2007 IRA National Championships...Won the Copley Cup at the 2006 and 2007 San Diego Crew Classics...Won a gold medal in the men’s freshman four at the 2006 IRA National Championships.
Personal: Mark was awarded First-Team All-Academic in the PAC-10 Conference in 2006 and 2007, First-Team All-PAC 10 Rowing in 2007 and the Mike McKnight Award in 2006. He enjoys ice hockey, soccer, music and video games. Mark lists his older brother, Jimmy, as the most infl uential person in his rowing career because he was a rower at Wisconsin and inspired him to give it a try. Before races, Mark does race simulation and visualization. He hopes to win the IRA National Championships and the PAC-10 Conference Championships during his collegiate career.
