National Results: Placed third in the women’s eight at the 2007 USRowing National Championships...Placed 13th in the women’s varsity eight at the 2007 NCAA Championships...Took silver in the women’s varsity eight at the 2006 NCAA Championships...Won gold in the women’s varsity eight at the 2005 NCAA Championships.

Personal: Mara lists winning the women’s varsity eight at the 2005 NCAA Championships as her most memorable sporting achievement. She enjoys baking, grocery shopping and doing crossword puzzles in her spare time and is an active member of a bicycle gang. The most influential people in Mara’s life are her older brother and sister because they constantly challenged her to gain their respect growing up. Someday, she hopes to travel to all 50 states and open a restaurant.
