Personal: Laura is a two-time adaptive national team member and four-time Paralympian...She competed at the 1988, 1992 and 1996 Paralympics in track and field, winning four gold medals in 1988, three silver medals and a bronze medal in 1992 and three silver medals in 1996...Laura enjoys reading, gardening and home improvements...Now retired, she worked for the United Spinal Association where she ran the Pennsylvania programs for U.S. veterans with spinal cord injuries.
