Personal: Lindsay enjoys reading, going to the beach, painting and all kinds of sports. She lists her high school volleyball coach, Heidi Morse, as her personal hero. Lindsay said her most memorable sporting achievement was winning the volleyball state quarterfinals as a junior in high school. Her team was an underdog and won a three-hour match in what Lindsay calls, “the biggest team effort I have ever been a part of.” Having once dreamed of having her own radio show, Lindsay does not limit her musical preference to particular genres. She notes Bush, No Doubt, Timbaland and The Notorious B.I.G. among her favorites. She majored in Spanish and minored in Art History at Virginia. Lindsay enjoys Spanish culture and music, and rates the sound of the flamenco guitar as one of the three best sounds in the world. The other two are the ocean and the steel drums. She lists her favorite artist as Salvador Dali and her favorite authors as Shakespeare, William Blake, Zora Neale Hurston and Isabel Allende. Lindsay eventually would like to move to the North Carolina coast and become part of an ocean rescue team.
