International Results: Served as an alternate on the 2008 Olympic Team...Finished sixth in the quadruple sculls at the 2007 FISA World Championships...Finished sixth in the quadruple sculls at the 2006 FISA World Championships...Finished fourth in the quadruple sculls at the 2006 FISA World Cup stop in Lucerne...Finished fourth in the eight at the 2005 FISA World Championships...Served as an alternate on the 2004 Olympic Team...Finished fifth in the pair at the 2004 FISA World Cup stop in Munich...Won gold in the four at the 2003 FISA World Championships...Won the pair, four and eight at the 2002 Canadian Henley...Won bronze in the four at the 1999 Nation’s Cup...Won the club eight at the 1998 Women’s Henley Regatta and the high school eight at the 1994 Women’s Henley Regatta.

Personal: Liane is a six-time senior national team member...Liane enjoys movies, reading, knitting and baking deserts...She tries to read everything she can and likes to mix it up between current books and the classics...The last classic she read was Gone with the Wind...Her favorite movies are The Shawshank Redemption and The Red Violin, and her favorite musical groups include The Fray, Cake and Tori Amos...Liane’s first job was beta testing of a digital x-ray machine for Polaroid...Her most memorable sporting achievement was winning the 2000 NCAA Championship with an undefeated regular season racing record as a college senior...She lists her parents as the most influential people in her sporting career...A big basketball fan, Liane lists the NCAA Final Four as the sporting event she’d most like to have tickets to attend...She currently works for Home Depot as part of the USOC’s Olympic Job Opportunities Program.
