Personal: Katelin broke her leg twice playing soccer, so she decided to try a “non contact” sport and become a coxswain. Her greatest sporting achievements are winning gold in the men’s eight at the IRA National Championships in 2007 and winning Class Day her freshman year at the University of Washington. Katelin enjoys napping, rollerblading and going to the beach. She lists high school coach, Dan Bertossa, and Michael Callahan as the most influential people in her rowing career because they taught her the essential skills to succeed in rowing at the collegiate and elite levels.
