Personal: Kristin enjoys being outside and chose rowing because she likes being on the water. In her spare time, she likes going to the beach, eating and hanging out with friends. Her most memorable sporting achievement is winning the IRA Championships in 2006. Kristin has a pre-race ritual of telling jokes at the starting line to ease the tension. She lists her high school coach, Ethan Curren, as the most influential person in her sporting career because he really made her passionate and excited about rowing.
