Personal: Jill enjoys swimming, eating and playing beach volleyball. In 2007, she was named Athlete of the Year at Loyola Marymount University. Jill began rowing because soccer and surfing didn’t fulfill her drive for great competition, and she wanted to try something new. She lists her mom and coaches Sara-Mai Conway and Christy Shaver as the most influential people in her life.
