Personal: Chris started rowing because he likes to try new things and he thought it sounded interesting. He enjoys music, movies and video games, and his pre-race rituals include cleaning the boat and shaving his head. Chris lists one of his fi rst coaches, Dominic Costello, as the most influential person in his sporting career because he was encouraging and kept Chris hungry for rowing. Someday, he hopes to make an Olympic boat and coach rowing.
