The Jordan Company Returns as Gold Medal Sponsor of Golden Oars Awards Celebrating Excellence in Rowing

PRINCETON, N.J. – USRowing and the National Rowing Foundation are pleased to announce The Jordan Company has returned as a Gold Medal Sponsor of the 2012 Golden Oars Awards Dinner. The dinner, to be held Wednesday, November 14 at the New York Athletic Club in New York City, will celebrate excellence in rowing for 2012 and serves as a fundraiser for the U.S. national team, America Rows and USRowing adaptive programs.

“The support of The Jordan Company is very important to USRowing and we thank them for returning to Golden Oars for the second year,” said USRowing Chief Executive Officer Glenn Merry. “As a result of their support, our national teams are able to continue on their path to success and we are able to make enhancements to America Rows and our adaptive programs. The Golden Oars Awards Dinner will recognize top individuals in the sport including USRowing Medal winner Stan Pocock; USRowing Athlete of the Year, Glenn Ochal and Oksana Masters, as well as the Fan’s Choice Award winners, nominated and voted on by the rowing community.
