Washington and Stanford Remain No. 1 in New USRowing Collegiate Polls

Washington continued to top the USRowing men’s varsity eight poll, while Stanford ranked first in the lightweight women’s eight poll.

The top five in the men’s varsity eight poll remained the same. Washington received 10 of 12 first-place votes to take the top spot. Harvard ranked second, receiving the remaining two first-place votes. Brown ranked third, followed by California and Navy.

In the lightweight women’s poll, Stanford earned the No. 1 ranking with five of seven first-place votes. Wisconsin received the other two first-place votes to rank second. Bucknell, Radcliffe and Princeton rounded out the top five.

The lightweight men's eight poll will return next week.
