California, Humboldt State and Williams Remain Atop USRowing/CRCA Women’s Collegiate Rowing Polls

University of California, Humboldt State University and Williams College once again took the No. 1 spots in this week’s USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association polls presented by Pocock Racing Shells.

California received 18 of 25 first-place votes to remain on top of the Division I rankings. Virginia ranked second, receiving three first-place votes. Southern Cal, Ohio State and Michigan rounded out the top five. Southern Cal received one first-place vote, while Ohio State received three.

In Division II, Humboldt State kept the top spot for the second consecutive week, earning three first-place votes. Western Washington received two first-place votes to rank second. Nova Southeastern, Mercyhurst and Central Oklahoma rounded out the top five.

Williams remained the unanimous choice for the top spot in the Division III poll. Williams received all 10 first-place votes. Bates ranked second, followed by William Smith, Wellesley and United States Coast Guard Academy.
