Selected athletes from each camp will depart for the World Rowing Under 23 Championships on Saturday, July 16. The championships are July 21-24 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Coaches
The men’s eight and four will be coached by Mike Teti, head men’s coach at the University of California – Berkeley and Craig Amerkhanian, head men’s coach at Stanford University. Dave Reischman, head men’s coach from Syracuse University, will coach the men’s quad and Bryan Volpenhein will coordinate preparation of the lightweight men's four.
Housing
Housing will be provided.
Travel arrangements
All athletes will be responsible for getting to and from Chula Vista and Oklahoma City.
Cost
The cost of the camp is $500, which includes housing, food, coaching, facilities and transportation and equipment fees. The full camp fee must be mailed to USRowing, Attn: Margaux Jackson U23 Men’s Selection Camp, by May 15. Checks should be made out to “USRowing.” The mailing address is:

For all athletes selected on the team, the fee for the trip to Amsterdam will be around $3,000 and will be collected after selection has been completed.
The deadline to apply for the 2011 Under 23 Men's National Team Camp is midnight EST, April 1.
All athletes applying for the under 23 camp must be born on or after January 1, 1988. (Note: The last year that an athlete can compete in Under 23 events is the year that person turns 22).
Heavyweight men should have a 6:04 or faster 2k erg score, and/or 19:40 or faster 6k erg score.
Lightweight men should have a 6:22 or faster 2k erg score, and/or 20:15 or faster 6k erg score.
