Events:  M2-, LM2-, M1X, W1X, LM1X, LW1X

Saturday: 6k erg test on Concept 2 (Fixed) Please note:  Everyone is expected to participate in the 6k erg test in order to compete Sunday on the water. Times from the 6k will determine the start order for Sunday's racing. Lightweight athletes will only be required to weigh in one time during the event, before the erg test on Saturday. No weigh-in will be required for Sunday's racing.

Sunday: The course is 4023m long (See map below)

The course is divided in 3 parts. 

  • Start to 2nd Pole Set (about 1.8k)
  • 2nd Pole Set to 1st Pole Set (about 1.2k)
  • 1st Pole Set to Finish (about 1.1k)

***Important for all rowers: You have to row thru the 2nd and 1st Pole Set. These are markers for boats and every Pole is either Red or Green. If you are NOT rowing thru the Pole Set you will be disqualified.

*** At the moment we will have the (Rowing) Speed Order we will have LOW TIDE. 1st start is about 5min before low tide (9.09am) and last start about 5min after the peak point of low tide. This insures that during the regatta will be nearly no current in either direction.

M2-   – Andrew Gallagher / Mike DiSanto – 14:17.01 min

M2- L      – no time

F1x – Stesha Carle – 16:11.34 min

F1x L – Kristin Hedstrom – 15:48.06 min

F2-      – no time

Boat Storage/Launching
Boats can arrive on Friday between 9am and 4pm; boats can be stored in the boathouse of CRC, trailer(s) can be parked outside in the parking lot. If arriving before this date is necessary, please contact Head Coach Bernhard Stomporowski 510-541-3747

Practice
Upon arrival, please be in touch with CRC staff regarding traffic patterns and safety on the water.

  • Friday between 10am till 6pm
  • Saturday between 9.30am till 6pm
  • Sunday (only racing)


Training – Erging

  • Friday between 10am till 6pm
  • Saturday between 9.30am till 6pm (Test Time will be between 3pm till 4.30pm)

Noon: Athlete Meeting. (a representative from each boat must be present or the entry will be scratched) There will be signs to direct you to the meeting location.

6k Ergometer will be held at the CRC Boathouse.

6k Erg Tests (Start order for on-water racing will come from 6k results)

3:00 pm: Start Group #1

3:30pm: Start Group #2

4:00 pm: Start Group #3

 ***PLEASE NOTE

  • This is an informal racing opportunity for athletes.  
  • Timing will be provided by CRC Staff.  
  • Results from both the 6K ergometer and on water racing will have no impact on selection for 2013.


 

Weigh-ins

Weigh ins window for lightweights will be on Saturday between 1pm to 2pm
There will be a test scale set up at launch dock on Friday during practice.  

FISA Max Rules: Light Men - 72.5 kg; Light Women - 59kg. If an athlete fails to make weight, they will be allowed to race in the heavyweight event.
