USRowing has produced a new Safety DVD with funding provided by a grant from the United States Coast Guard. This clip is from the new DVD. Since the first safety video was released in the late 1980s, the number of rowing clubs in the U.S. has more than doubled and pleasure boat traffic has increased dramatically. The need for safety awareness has never been greater. USRowing stresses that everyone review the Safety DVD once a year. Member organizations will receive the new DVD with their 2008 organizational membership, with additional copies available for $20 from our online store.
