National Championship Regattas

The 2008 USRowing National Championships, which will consist of the elite events, will be held June 26-29 at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J., while the 2008 USRowing Club National Championships, which will consist of the junior, intermediate and senior events, will be held July 16-20 at Cooper River in Camden, N.J.

The 2008 USRowing National Championships will be held at the Finn M.W. Caspersen Rowing Center, the primary training facility of USRowing’s national training center athletes. The event schedule will reflect the current world championship structure. The regatta will feature races in the 22 world championship boat classes, as well as the four adaptive world championship boat classes.

Co-hosted by the Camden County Board of Freeholders in conjunction with Cooper River Rowing Association, the 2008 USRowing Club National Championships will feature junior, intermediate and senior-level events. More than 1,400 athletes competed in these categories at last year’s national championships in Camden.
