Parking on Campus:

Parking is free on the weekends. We suggest parking in the Southwest Quadrangle parking garage . It is a short walk to Copley Formal Lounge from the garage.

Southwest Quad Garage:

From the hotel take Wisconsin Avenue M Street and make a right. Go straight past the KeyBridge as M Street changes to Canal road (You will pass an EXXON gas station on the right.). After you pass the gas station, make the first right about 1/4 miles from the station. Make the next right into the Southwest Quadrangle parking garage. Copley Formal Lounge (Copley Hall):

From the parking garage in Southwest Quad: Take the elevator to the first floor, which is ground level. Exit the elevator and the building. Turn right and walk to the end of the path. Turn left and continue across the street and up the hill on Library Walk. At the end of the road turn left. The first building to your left is Healy Hall and the second building is Copley Hall. The entrance is on the right side of the building facing Red Square. Click here to see Copley Hall on the campus map.

9:00 - 10:30 AM – Keynote address by Jay Coakley (professor emeritus University of Colorado and author of the textbook Sports in Society).

10:30 - 11:30 AM – Simon Dickie, Youth & Community Manager of the Amateur Rowing Association of Great Britain.

11:45AM - 12:45 PM – The Challenge of Fundraising (Bruce Smith of Community Rowing Inc., Amanda Kraus of Row New York, Greg Roberts of the Muhammad Ali Center of Louisville, Kentucky, and Glen O’Gilvie of Center for Nonprofit Advancement).

12:45PM – 1:30PM- Lunch in Copley Formal Lounge (sandwich buffet, salad, bottled water and soda).
