USC, Western Washington, and Williams College Remain on Top of Women’s Rowing Polls
The University of Southern California once again claimed the top spot in this week’s USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association NCAA Division I Varsity Eight Coaches Poll, while Western Washington University and Williams College topped the Division II and Division III polls, respectively.
In Division I, USC took the top spot in the poll for the third week in a row, earning 21 of 25 first-place votes. Yale University received the remaining four first-place votes to rank second. University of Notre Dame, Brown University and University of Virginia rounded out the top five.
In the Division II poll, Western Washington once again earned the No. 1 ranking, receiving four of five first-place votes. Dowling College earned the other first-place vote to rank second. Nova Southeastern ranked third.
Williams College received all eight first-place votes to remain on top of the Division III poll. William Smith College ranked second, followed by Ithaca College, Bates College, and the United States Coast Guard Academy.

Washington Tops Men’s Poll; Wisconsin Tops Lightweight Women’s Poll
For the sixth week in a row, the University of Washington claimed the top spot in the USRowing Men’s Varsity Eight Collegiate Coaches Poll, while the University of Wisconsin earned the top spot in the USRowing Lightweight Women’s Eight Collegiate Coaches Poll.
Washington earned all 10 first-place votes to take the top spot in the men’s poll. The University of California ranked second, followed by Harvard University, Yale University and Stanford University.
In the lightweight women’s poll, Wisconsin received seven of nine first-place votes to take the top spot. Princeton ranked second, earning the other two first-place votes. Stanford University, Georgetown University and Radcliffe rounded out the top five.
