California, Mercyhurst and Williams Continue to Top USRowing/CRCA Women’s Collegiate Rowing Polls
The University of California earned the No. 1 ranking in this week’s USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association NCAA Division I Varsity Eight Coaches Poll. Mercyhurst College and Williams College took the top spots in the Division II and III polls, respectively.
For the second week in a row, California topped the Division I rankings, earning 20 of 25 first-place votes. Yale University received the other five first-place votes to rank second. Michigan State University, Stanford University and University of Michigan rounded out the top five.
Mercyhurst received all five first-place votes to remain atop the Division II poll. Western Washington University ranked second, followed by Dowling College.
Williams College received all 10 first-place votes to top the Division III poll, while Bates College ranked second. Trinity College, Ithaca College and the University of Puget Sound rounded out the top five.

Wisconsin Tops Men’s Eight and Women’s Lightweight Eight Polls
University of Wisconsin earned the top spot in this week’s USRowing men’s varsity eight and women's lightweight eight collegiate coaches’ polls.
Wisconsin took the top spot in the men’s varsity eight poll, earning 17 of 19 first-place votes. University of Washington ranked second, while Stanford University ranked third. Both received one first-place vote. University of California and Harvard University rounded out the top five.
Wisconsin received all nine first-place votes to earn the top spot in the women’s lightweight eight poll for the fifth week in a row. Radcliffe ranked second, while Stanford, Princeton University and Georgetown University rounded out the top five.
The next men’s lightweight poll will be released May 6.
