Princeton, Western Washington, and Trinity Continue to Lead Women’s Rowing Collegiate Coaches’ Polls
INDIANAPOLIS – For the fourth week in a row, Princeton University claimed the top spot in the USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association NCAA Division I Varsity Eight Coaches Poll, while Western Washington University and Trinity College topped the Division II and III polls, respectively.
In Division I, Princeton once again earned 23 of 24 first-place votes to remain atop the rankings. California, the defending NCAA champions, earned one first-place vote to stay in the No. 2 position in the poll. Southern California ranked third, followed by Yale and Ohio State.
Western Washington was the unanimous choice for the top spot in the Division II poll. Nova Southeastern ranked second, followed by Dowling College.
Trinity College received six of nine first-place votes to remain in the No. 1 position in the Division III poll. Ithaca College, which received two first-place votes, ranked second, followed by Smith College, Colby College, and Williams College. Tufts University received one first-place vote and ranked sixth.

Princeton and Radcliffe Take Top Spot in Men’s and Lightweight Women’s Collegiate Rowing Polls
PRINCETON, N.J. – For the third week in a row, Princeton University earned the No. 1 ranking in the USRowing Men’s Varsity Eight Collegiate Coaches Poll, while Radcliffe moved into the top position in the USRowing Lightweight Women’s Varsity Eight Collegiate Coaches Poll.
Princeton garnered 10 of 12 first-place votes to earn the top spot in the men’s poll. Stanford University received two first-place votes to rank second. California, Brown, and Harvard rounded out the top five.
Radcliffe took over the top spot in the women’s lightweight poll, earning all five first-place votes. Princeton ranked second, followed by Wisconsin, Georgetown, and Central Florida.
