2010 USRowing Adaptive Sweep Development Camp

June 5–8
We are announcing a USRowing Adaptive Sweep Development Camp. The purpose of this camp is to identify athletes throughout the United States with racing and or National Team aspirations. It will prepare rowers who would like to try out for the national team at the July selection camp. This camp will offer the opportunity for athletes across the country to:

Rowers can be aspiring to the national team or just starting out. We are looking for tall athletes. If a candidate is shorter, they should have demonstrated a strong erg and be able to row with good length on the water. The erg range that we are looking for is under 3:30 for 1k for men or under 4:00 for women. If you are a candidate who is not quite there, but you believe you have the drive and the engine to get there in time, then depending on space availability, you may be included.

This camp will consist of erg testing and on-water sessions with video analysis, discussion of summer rowing opportunities, U.S. National Team Q&A, etc. The tentative schedule is below.
