USRowing, the national governing body for rowing in the United States, seeks a full-time Member Services Representative to work with the Manager of Member Services to provide support and communication to the member base. The job will be at USRowing headquarters located in Princeton, N.J. The Member Services Representative’s primary responsibilities will be to provide direct clerical support to USRowing’s membership staff, the member base, as well as office personnel in the processing of applications, response to member inquiries and maintenance of office supplies and equipment. The applicant should have distinguished organizational skills, excellent verbal communication skills, superior people skills, strong computer skills and the desire to learn more about the sport. The applicant must posses a willingness to travel. A bachelor’s degree is required. A rowing background is required. Referee Coordinator
USRowing, the national governing body for the sport of rowing in the United States, seeks a full-time referee coordinator to assist the events manager with the day-to-day operations of the department. The primary focus of the position will be to coordinate communication among the Referee Committee, active national referees and USRowing staff. This includes management of the referee database, processing newly licensed referees, publishing and distributing referee publications and actively recruiting new candidates. The coordinator also will provide administrative support and assist the events manager in planning national championship regattas. Some travel is required.
The successful candidate will have a rowing background. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but relevant work experience will be considered in place of a degree. The applicant for this job should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as good organizational, planning and computer skills.
