What is my member number?

If you have forgotten your organizational membership number, please contact 1-800-324-4769 or e-mail members@usrowing.org for assistance.

What is my password?

Your password is your organization’s current zip code by default.  If you have forgotten your password, please contact 1-800-324-4769 or e-mail members@usrowing.org for assistance.

Where do I go to renew my organizational membership?

Renewing your membership can be done online at: http://www.usrowing.org/join.aspx. If you don’t want to pay with credit card, you can submit an application via fax, scan or regular postal mail. The form can be downloaded here. Please e-mail to members@usrowing.org or fax to (609) 924-1578.

Please note: when logging in as an organizational member, the organizational number (member number) must be preceded by the letter “o,” not the number zero.

I am having trouble logging in. I know this is my organization’s number, and I know this is the zip code?

If you are getting a “this page is not served” error, please start over by clicking on Join/Renew. Take note that the page is divided into three categories: individual membership, waiver only and organizational membership. If you are trying to log in as an organization under the “renew my individual membership,” you will receive this error.

If you are certain you have the correct org number and password (zip code), please make sure you are placing the letter “o” (not the number zero) in front of the org number.

If you continue to have trouble logging in, please call 1-800-314-4769 or e-mail members@usrowing.org.

Can I reset my password?

Yes. If you have changed your password from the default zip code and need help resetting, you can call the main line at 1-800-324-4769 or e-mail members@usrowing.org. If you know your password and can successfully log in but wish to change it, you can update your member profile, and you will have an option to change your password.

How can I find my password?

Your default password is your organization’s zip code. If you are still having trouble, please call 1-800-314-4769 or e-mail members@usrowing.org.

Can I update my profile on the Web site or do I need to call/e-mail USRowing?

Now you have the ability to update your profile online at: http://www.usrowing.org/join.aspx.

What are the different prices for being an organizational member?

Organizational membership pricing is based on the number of current or active rowing members in the club. Below is the tier system and pricing:

Tier One                        $1,150                       0-20 Active Members

Tier Two                        $1,350                       21-75 Active Members

Tier Three                      $1,650                       76-150 Active Members

Tier Four                        $1,850                      151-300 Active Members

Tier Five                         $2,200                      More than 300 Active Members

Tier Six                           $950                         All members are individual members of USRowing

$350                                    Your club has outside insurance and will provide proof of insurance

What is the $350 tier?

This tier is for organizations that have outside insurance comparable to what USRowing offers.  An itemized list can be found on page 19 of our 2011 Organizational Membership Brochure, which can be downloaded here. (http://www.usrowing.org/About/WaiversForms.aspx)

When do I have to renew my organizational membership?

Organizational membership runs the calendar year. It is strongly recommended that you renew your membership by the first week of January or in December of the previous year. Unlike individual membership, your organizational membership expires December 31 of the current year. If you purchased membership in September of 2011, it will expire December 31, 2011. 

Do I have to be an individual member of USRowing as well as an organizational member?

Organizations must be members of USRowing in order to participate in ANY registered regatta.

If you are racing for a member organization, most regattas sanctioned by USRowing do not require a full-privileged membership to compete. If you are racing unaffiliated, all members of the boat must be individual members of USRowing at all registered regattas. Regardless, you will need to sign a waiver (release of liability) to participate in any registered regatta.

The only regattas that require full-privileged memberships for all individuals are events that are hosted by USRowing. A list of those events can be found at http://www.usrowing.org/Events.aspx.

What events do I have to be an organizational member of USRowing?

In order to race at any registered regatta in the United States, you must be a current organizational member. Not all regattas register with USRowing. An easy way to tell if an event is a registered regatta is to note the “USRowing” symbol next to the regatta name on RegattaCentral.

Can I cancel my organizational membership if my club is no longer racing?

While your membership can be canceled at any time, we will only refund money within the first 30 days of purchase, pending that you have not raced at any regattas under that member number.

I want to race as a non-USRowing organization for just this one event, but don’t want to pay $1,150.  What should I do?

USRowing requires an individual membership, but I have an organizational membership.  Does that count as the same thing?

No. If you are rowing at an USRowing-hosted event, you are required to have an individual membership. A list of those events can be found at http://www.usrowing.org/Events.aspx. An organizational membership will work just fine for all other sanctioned or non-sanctioned events in the United States.

My club only races in the fall. Can I pay only half dues?

How do I obtain a certificate of insurance?

Where do I submit my roster?

You can submit your roster to members@usrowing.org. If you need a template to use, one can be downloaded at http://www.usrowing.org/About/WaiversForms.aspx.
